About Us
Rimi Nayak is an Indian fashion designer known for her eclectic prints, bold colors, and draped silhouettes. With her distinctive design aesthetic and ability to blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary sensibilities, she has carved a niche for herself in the fashion industry. Rimi pursued her formal education in fashion design from the esteemed National Institute of Fashion Technology in India, where she honed her skills and developed a unique design philosophy.
After completing her education, Rimi Nayak launched her eponymous label, Rimi Nayak India, at the prestigious Lakme Fashion Week in India in 2008. Her collections were showcased at the event every year until 2016, establishing her presence in the Indian fashion scene.
Seeking to expand her horizons, Rimi then onwards ventured into the international market, participating in various trade shows and fashion events across the globe.
EXCLUSIVE BRAND COLLABORATION
In terms of social impact, Rimi Nayak has collaborated with Okhai, a TATA Group CSR Project. She personally visited the town of Mithapur in Gujarat and worked with the local Rabari Tribe women to design a range for the Okhai brand in 2019. Furthermore, she collaborated with the Ministry of Minority, Government of India, in association with the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), to train underprivileged minority artisans specializing in traditional Indian crafts.

who eventually won the award as she raised the
highest amount of funds for the event -

Apart from fashion shows the brand has been part of
numerous trade shows and exhibitions across middle east
and south east Asia in countries like U.A.E., Kuwait, Qatar,
Singapore and Malaysia.

an Indo-Italian Trade Meet as a part of a delegation
team from Kolkata selected by The Bengal Chamber
